With her unique sound and artistic projection under her funky warm seductive vocals, Polina displays an artistic depth and quality that is rare. Polina has had an enormous amount of worldwide success in her twenty-three years.

Russian born singer-songwriter and classically trained pianist she is a graduate of Berklee College of Music. Raised in Moscow, Polina is the only child of a famous Russian pop singer Anka and a renown abstract painter Ruslan Gudiev.

Since an early age she was passionate about dancing and modelling and at age four started appearing in music videos, and having impromptu guest spots in her mother's shows and interviews. She left her native Russia to concentrate on her music in the US after singing on an advertising jingle that became the most frequently played commercial jingle ever recorded for Russian television.

Polina appeared on Epic Records national release 'Shekinah', as well as US and european releases of Deep Sonic, CCK Music, Underpoets and The Indiana Cafe just to name a few. In 2005 she co-wrote and sang on the theme song for "Constellation" a feature film directed by Jordan Walker-Pearlman.

Polina has recently appeared with an Irish singer Enya on the hot morning shows "Live with Regis and Kelly" and "The CBS Early Show" in support of her latest album release "Amarantine". Records she's touched with her vocals have been played by DJ's such as Richie Hawtin, Polina can be heard in clubs and on radio (WKTU 103.5 FM, Power 92.1 FM, KXLU 88.9 FM LA, KBIG 104.3 FM LA, WAPS 91.3 FM). Among her side projects is "Muscovado", a bossa flavored duo which she formed with Combustible Edison's keyboard player Br Cleve in 2002.

"Muscovado" shows a different side of her vocal style and involves her in every step of the creative process from writing to producing and arranging. She is currently working on her first solo album with legendary New York producer Todd Terry.
